Job Description

Your core task is to create technical security solutions for the production area. In the course of this, you analyze existing system landscapes, identify optimization possibilities, and derive necessary security solutions.

You are involved in the development and rollout process of the OT-Security Management System at MAHLE.

You ensure vulnerabilities in existing implementations and planned architectures are identified and derive measures for improvement.

You continuously develop the security standards of the production.

As an interface to the specialist departments and plants, you advise on our existing strategies. A regular exchange with colleagues helps them become more aware of the topic of OT-security.

You accompany IT security assessments and audits.

You support in case of customer audits in an expert role.

You are responsible for internal communication and creating awareness regarding OT-Security.

You are responsible for risk assessments and analyze cloud solutions in the OT area.

You evaluate security solutions, handle security incidents, and cooperate in security-related projects.

Your Skills and Strengths

• You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, business informatics, or a comparable field.
• You possess knowledge and professional experience in a similar role with at least 5 years of experience.
• You have fundamental knowledge of IEC62443, as well as a basic understanding of the NIST Framework, UN R155 / R156 regulations, and the ISO2700x family.
• Ideally, you have extensive expertise in OT security standards, security frameworks, and IIoT / Industry 4.0.
• You have knowledge of risk analysis methodologies.
• Your initiative and ability to structure complex processes are essential for successfully handling tasks.
• You demonstrate an assertive manner.
• Your strengths include strong communication skills and a hands-on mentality.
• You are accustomed to working in a dynamic environment, ideally within the automotive sector.
• You possess a strong customer orientation and the ability to lead projects.
• You have good expertise in IT & OT technological trends.
• Traveling between production sites globally is considered a plus.
• You can communicate effectively on a high technical and production-related IT level.
• You have excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken.
