Origination Manager (m/f/d) – Renewable Energies
Location: Hamburg / Munich area (50% remote)

We’re supporting a leading European renewable energy producer in their search for an Origination Manager to join their energy trading and optimisation division.
In this role, you’ll focus on managing and expanding short-term PPAs and trading activities, working closely with internal stakeholders and market counterparties. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing, international team at the forefront of the energy transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the origination and structuring of short-term PPAs and trading products
- Collaborate with trading desks and analytics teams to optimise revenue
- Develop relationships with market participants across Europe
- Negotiate commercial terms and ensure regulatory compliance
- Support energy sales strategy across different renewable asset classes
Your Profile:
- Strong experience in energy trading, PPA structuring, or commercial origination
- Deep understanding of European power markets, ideally with a focus on short-term mechanisms
- Background working with IPPs, utilities, trading houses, or energy suppliers
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
