• Experience in Exadata health checks, migration, resource management, and patching/upgrading
• Expertise in database performance tuning, backup, and recovery basics

Requirements

• Production support experience as an Oracle DBA with at least 6 years of strong experience on the Exadata platform
• Demonstrable experience managing high-performance, high-capacity databases in critical production environments
• Solid Oracle 11gR1 / R2 RAC experience including build, administration, troubleshooting (Break/Fix), and performance tuning skills
• Experience in Clusterware (GRID Infrastructure) - CRS management and configuration
• Skilled in Oracle ASM and Data Guard administration
• Expertise in SQL & database performance tuning, backup, recovery, and migration using RMAN, Data Pump, and export/import
• Experience in maintenance and management of databases using Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control
• Experience on Solaris, Linux, and AIX OS including shell scripting skills. Willing to work in a 24/7 global support model
• Assist development teams in analyzing issues
• Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and coordination skills; strong initiative and ownership
• Expert knowledge of database scripting and automation technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with offshore vendors, building positive working relationships, and working collaboratively as a team player
• Experience in a large corporate environment; competent in Change/Release Management (ITIL-based, preferably ITIL Foundation Certified)
