The Oracle Frankfurt, Germany office is hiring Data Centre Technicians, Senior Data Centre Technicians/Leads, and Data Centre Managers.

Our Data Centre Technicians serve as the liaison between technology teams and the Data Centre Environment. We seek individuals capable of troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues, understanding escalation procedures, and maintaining documentation. Candidates should be able to innovate and make decisions independently while following directions carefully. The Data Centre Leads and Managers are expected to improve processes, introduce automation, and manage small projects, collaborating with managers on larger initiatives.

This position requires working on a 24/7 shift rotation system 365 days a year.

Employment is contingent upon satisfactory background checks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience (desired but not mandatory)
• Data Centre Technician IC1: Recent graduates with interest, knowledge, and willingness to learn; gap year students considered. Excellent communication skills, ability to support clients directly, and work independently or in remote teams. Service-oriented, reliable, responsible, self-motivated.
• Data Centre Technicians IC2, IC3: 2-5 years in IT infrastructure support, server admin, hardware repair, networking fundamentals, and system configuration.
• Data Centre Technicians IC4: 4-8 years supporting IT infrastructure, leading projects, and working in mission-critical environments. Knowledge of data center design, airflow management, cabling, and system administration.
• Data Centre Manager: Over 5 years managing teams, with 3+ years supporting and troubleshooting in data centers. Experience in process improvement, change management, and supporting enterprise customers. Strong communication and leadership skills.

All roles involve physical tasks, including lifting up to 25kg and working in confined or elevated spaces.

Additional responsibilities include: acting as a liaison for technical teams, supporting hardware and software installation, maintenance, and support, and participating in design and commissioning activities.

Data Centre IC4 and Manager roles require advanced communication skills, support case management, and project participation, with the Manager also overseeing team performance, compliance, and escalation procedures.
