Are you an experienced Optical, Photonics or Laser Engineer based in or around Martinsried Germany?

We are looking for a technically strong engineer to join an innovative team working on advanced laser and optical systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands‑on experience in laser technology, optics, photonics or related engineering disciplines who wants to work on challenging, high-precision technology.

The Role

You will be involved in the development, testing, optimisation and integration of sophisticated optical and laser systems.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Designing, developing and testing optical and laser systems.
• Working with laser sources, optical components and optomechanical systems.
• Building and characterising experimental and prototype systems.
• Performing optical measurements, testing and system qualification.
• Analysing technical problems and developing practical solutions.
• Supporting the transition of prototypes into reliable production systems.
• Working closely with R&D, electronics, software, mechanical engineering and production teams.
• Documenting technical work, test results and system performance.
• Contributing ideas to improve the performance, reliability and manufacturability of laser and optical products.

What We're Looking For
