Optimus Search in Germany seeks an experienced Optical Integration Engineer to join a team developing high-precision optical and photonic systems for precision measurement, semiconductor tech and industrial applications.

You will integrate optical assemblies, perform alignment and calibration, and work across engineering disciplines to bring complex systems from development to final testing.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Photonics or a related engineering discipline
• Commercial experience integrating optical or photonic systems
• Knowledge of optical alignment, imaging systems, lasers or precision measurement technologies
• Experience working with complex multidisciplinary engineering projects
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment used for optical testing and characterisation
• Experience with Zemax, MATLAB, Python or LabVIEW would be advantageous
• Experience within semiconductor equipment, photonics, precision engineering, scientific instrumentation or machine vision is highly desirable

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Optical Integration Engineer looking to work on complex, multidisciplinary projects from development through to final system integration.
