Zusammenfassung

Optimus Search is seeking a Precision Alignment Engineer to join a highly skilled team developing and commissioning advanced precision alignment and motion control systems for semiconductor equipment and optical metrology.

You will be responsible for alignment, calibration, and optimisation of high-accuracy mechanical and optical systems, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure performance, reliability, and measurement accuracy.

Qualifikationen

  • Strong calibration techniques for nanopositioning and motion systems.
  • Background in optical metrology or semiconductor equipment advantageous.

  • Perform precision alignment of optical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Calibrate and optimise nanopositioning stages, motion systems, and precision mechanisms.
  • Improve system accuracy, repeatability, and stability through alignment optimisation.
  • Support equipment installation, commissioning, and qualification activities.
  • Diagnose and resolve alignment issues across mechanical, optical, and motion control systems.
  • Perform measurements and analysis to validate system performance against technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, optical, electrical, and software engineering teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of alignment processes, tools, and procedures.

Precision Engineering at the Nanometre Scale


Join a highly skilled engineering team developing and commissioning advanced precision alignment and motion control systems used in semiconductor equipment and optical metrology applications. Our technologies enable the extreme accuracy and stability required for next-generation manufacturing, where alignment precision at the nanometre scale is critical.


As a Precision Alignment Engineer, you will be responsible for the alignment, calibration, and optimisation of high-accuracy mechanical and optical systems. Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will help ensure equipment performance, reliability, and measurement accuracy.


Responsibilities


  • Perform precision alignment of optical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems.

  • Calibrate and optimise nanopositioning stages, motion systems, and precision mechanisms.

  • Improve system accuracy, repeatability, and stability through alignment optimisation.

  • Support equipment installation, commissioning, and qualification activities.

  • Diagnose and resolve alignment issues across mechanical, optical, and motion control systems.

  • Perform measurements and analysis to validate system performance against technical specifications.

Requirements


  • Experience in precision alignment, optical assembly, or high-accuracy mechanical systems.

  • Strong understanding of precision motion systems, nanopositioning, and calibration techniques.

  • Experience working with semiconductor equipment, optical metrology, or advanced manufacturing systems.

  • Practical experience with laser alignment and optical adjustment techniques.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent hands-on problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical documentation, and measurement data.

  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to complex technical challenges.

  • Experience with interferometry, laser measurement systems, or precision instrumentation.

  • Knowledge of vibration control, thermal stability, or ultra-precision engineering principles.

  • Experience with automated motion control systems and metrology equipment.

  • Background in semiconductor equipment installation, commissioning, or field service engineering.
