As a Operations Research Analyst at Flix, you can make an impact by directly influence end results or products, services or processes, that are strongly connected to the revenue management system and it's usage, in order to increase profitability. You will work closely with both tech and business teams in an Agile environment and will be part of theRevenue Management and Commercial Excellence department which is responsible for the revenue optimization of the full network. In particular, our department aims to define the best possible pricing strategy to maximize our revenue given current and historic demand patterns, competitor actions, and our current and historic supply.

About the Role

• Designing techniques to monitor, validate and calibrate the revenue management system outputs, such as forecast and optimized prices

• Track performance and construct data models/analytical tools to make optimal commercial decisions

• Work closely with several teams and stakeholders to weigh business value against complexity to determine the best suited models and methods

• Monitor user actions (pricing actions, forecast influences) and provide feedback on their impact

• Manage acceptance and provide guidance to various stakeholders involved in system usage.

About You

• Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or similar

• Experience in Revenue Management applications and systems, in Operations Research or related fields

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Entrepreneurial and analytical way of thinking, a good understanding of numbers and a “hands-on” mentality

• Expertise in Python and SQL and hands-on software development experience
