Your tasks

• Overall responsibility for the organisation, management and optimisation of all logistics processes of a logistics centre and an external warehouse
• Management, motivation and further development of employees
• Sub-project manager for the logistics centre expansion project
• Ensuring that all orders are processed on time and in high quality
• Monitoring and optimisation of stock levels and inventory responsibility
• Control of logistics key figures and continuous process improvements
• Working closely with other departments such as materials planning, purchasing, sales and production
• Implementation of quality, safety and environmental standards

Your profile

• Degree in logistics, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in a management position in logistics or supply chain management
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Very good understanding of logistics processes and modern warehouse management systems
• Successful implementation of large logistics expansion projects
• High level of initiative, structured way of working and assertiveness
• Create commitment by honouring promises and deadlines
• Pro-active, convincing and engaging communication
• Good IT skills (SAP especially EWM/TM, MS Office etc.)
• Good English language skills
