We have partnered with a global utilities provider as they continue to grow their trading team to deal with increase renewables footprint.

They are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team to deliver a E2E support approach at all stages of their integrations and development projects.

They need someone who is comfortable owning the overall operations strategy, incident and problem management and championing a culture of reliability and automation.

Alongside problem ownership, key part of this role is strong stakeholder communication skills and working closely with technical and non technical stakeholders.

Key Deliverables

• Ensure middleware functionality for critical applications
• be proactive in delivering operation improvements and driving best practice
• Oversee incident and problem management process
• work closely with cloud and tech teams to increase reliability and proactive incident detection

About you

• Previous experience managing in Operations Management or SRE role
• Strong written and verbal English
• Good cloud infrastructure knowledge - ideally Azure
• Good experience of working with Kafka, API's and streaming
• Any prior knowledge of trading, utilities banking or finance is a nice to have
