Mission & Responsibility:

1. Internal control manager
2. Automatize KPI's and embed controlling instruments within IT systems
3. Identification of cost & efficiency improvement potential
4. Lead monthly closing process together with accounting department
5. Lead the budget process
6. Assures timely and correct preparation of Flash, Budget and StratPlan for Production plants (Germany & Belgium)
7. Key user SAP for Controlling
8. Analyses plant situation, identify area of improvement, drives implementation at plants (target setting)
9. Alignment of outcome for all plants in perimeter (benchmark with other countries)
10. Close contact and alignment with BUCE Controller on all topics (e.g. System improvement, reporting, Division /Group requirements)
11. Responsible for improvement of controlling activities

Competencies & Requirements:

1. Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
2. Minimum 10 years of experience within Controlling/Finance, including at least 4 years as a Plant Controller in the automotive industry
3. Solid track record of controlling instruments
4. Strong knowledge of Accounting principles and IFRS standards
5. Demonstrated solid leadership skills and experience
6. Willingness and ability to integrate into a team and a high level of resilience
7. Proficient in SAP (FI, CO) modules
8. Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data and work under tight deadlines
9. Fluent in English and German; working knowledge of French is a plus
10. Experience as an Internal Auditor
