Job Description

Our client is a unique startup with a mission to harness artificial intelligence to assist the visually impaired. They have developed an innovative, smart, wearable device with an intuitive interface to improve the daily lives of individuals who are blind, visually impaired, or have reading difficulties.

They are seeking an Operations Manager based in Cologne, Germany, to support operations across the European market.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail
  • Resourceful problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new tasks
  • Excellent communication skills and intercultural competence
  • Fluent in English and at least business proficiency in German; knowledge of other European languages is a plus
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Degree in international business, business administration, or logistics is preferred but not mandatory
  • Relevant work experience in related fields

Responsibilities:

  • Process client orders from across Europe using our CRM system
  • Maintain oversight of the supply chain from order to delivery
  • Identify and resolve potential issues collaboratively with clients and sales teams
  • Provide customer service, including onboarding new clients, offering information, and aftersales support
  • Assist in defining stock levels, monitoring inventory, and organizing counts with the production team
  • Coordinate between warehouse, office, and clients regarding deliveries, pickups, and returns
  • Support the European sales and accounting teams by ensuring timely payment of invoices to suppliers
