Our client is a partner for electricity and natural gas in Germany and European countries.

For the offices in Düsseldorf and Essen, we are currently looking for an Operations Analyst (m / f / d). This position is limited to a temporary project assignment.

Your Responsibilities as an Operations Analyst (m / f / d)

1. Executing operations/back office activities for complex commercial contracts.
2. Responsible for the front-to-end settlement operations on different contracts, including preparing and sending invoices, checking and processing invoices in SAP.
3. Analysing, investigating, uncovering, and resolving discrepancies, settlement queries, process exceptions, and other operational finance incidents.
4. Monitoring open positions and coordinating the dunning process.
5. Collaborating and interacting with internal and/or external business partners.
6. Ensuring validation and settlement is aligned with established procedures and that daily, weekly, and monthly controls are performed.

Your Qualifications as an Operations Analyst (m / f / d)

1. University degree in economics, business management, or an appropriate professional qualification.
2. Background in the energy industry is a plus.
3. Profound analytical skills and good knowledge of SAP and MS Office services (Power BI, Power Automate).
4. Ability to generate new ideas and recognize the need for change through new or modified approaches.
5. Strong team player, self-confident with good interpersonal skills and a flexible attitude.
6. Fluent in English written and spoken; German is a plus.
