Job Description
Tasks
Identification, validation and prioritisation of requirements for the fleets of Deutsche Lufthansa AG.
Obtaining quotations, placing orders and monitoring up to receipt of goods, including escalation of deviations.
Independent coordination with international suppliers to ensure delivery capability.
Structured processing of requests from maintenance, engineering and logistics.
Implementation and coordination of material relocations between the Frankfurt and Munich locations.
Coordination of material flows for repair instead of new procurement.
Participation in general tasks within the cabin material department.
Ensuring a smooth procurement process through active monitoring and communication.
Requirements
Completed commercial vocational training with several years of professional experience in purchasing and/or materials management or a completed bachelor's degree, e.g., in economics.
Sound practical experience in purchasing, materials or supply chain management.
A sound understanding of procurement processes, supplier communication and materials coordination.
Detailed user knowledge of common MS Office programmes and ERP systems (e.g., SAP is an advantage).
Business fluent in German (at least C1 level) and proficient in English (at least B2 level).
Valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU.
