Operational Pricing Analyst (m / f / d)

About us

MOBIS Parts Europe N.V. is the European branch of Hyundai MOBIS, a worldwide leading supplier of genuine parts and accessories in the automotive field. Together with Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors, Hyundai MOBIS is one of the largest companies within the Hyundai group. MOBIS Parts Europe N.V. is responsible for the entire aftersales business of genuine parts and accessories for Hyundai and Kia Motors in Europe.

This position is a fixed-term contract for the duration of maternity leave.

Your profile

  • University degree in Business Administration, Controlling, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in Pricing, Product Management, Marketing, Controlling, Sales, or Finance.
  • Profound knowledge of pricing tools, methods, and strategies.
  • Understanding of pricing sensitivities, market dynamics, and influencing factors.
  • Basic knowledge of the automotive aftersales and service business trends.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Full IT literacy, including databases and financial, order, sales, and invoicing systems.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel (preferably with VBA).
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, both internally and externally.
  • Proactive attitude and hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the European Pricing Strategy and set initial prices for new parts daily, applying defined pricing rules and liaising with suppliers as needed.
  • Create and follow up on the daily unpriced parts list, coordinate with teams to expedite pricing, share updates across branches, and report KPIs monthly.
  • Manage and maintain a list of parts for price change proposals, review relevant data, and coordinate pricing updates according to schedule.
  • Conduct pricing analysis for new car models, compare with previous models, and recommend strategies for management approval.
  • Handle price approvals for IP vendors, communicate with vendors, set prices in the system, and document approvals.
  • Report weekly on new priced parts and accessories, monitor profitability, and analyze price development using new methodologies monthly.
  • Review customer requests, coordinate with suppliers if needed, analyze the market and technical details, and provide customer feedback.
  • Control local parts and PDC approvals, set prices in the system, and ensure compliance.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses for different markets, product groups, and suppliers based on system data.
