Your tasks:
- Development tasks in projects with open source context.
- Involvement in projects of foundations in which Mercedes-Benz is a member, such as the Eclipse Foundation, Linux Foundation or Cloud Native Computing Foundation.
- Varied and exciting projects and tasks in different domains.
- Collaboration in the interdisciplinary OSPO team.
- Independent implementation of development orders for the OSPO team.
Your profile:
- You are enthusiastic about open source and can motivate yourself for it long-term.
- You have experience as a software engineer, ideally in full-stack projects.
- You have extensive experience in the FOSS context (GitHub, contributions, licenses, own FOSS projects).
- You have some experience with open source foundations and their content.
- You work problem-oriented and communicate openly and empathetically.
- You have good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken.
