Qualifications

What we are looking for?

We are seeking an experienced Onsite Delivery Manager to act as the primary point of contact between the customer and delivery organization. The candidate will be responsible for managing project delivery, stakeholder communication, resource planning, governance, and customer satisfaction while ensuring successful execution of project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite liaison between the customer and offshore delivery teams.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Conduct regular governance meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder updates.
• Understand customer priorities and translate them into actionable delivery plans.
• Manage customer escalations and ensure timely resolution.

Delivery Management

• Own end-to-end project delivery, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence.
• Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with contractual commitments, SOWs, and SLAs.
• Monitor project health and implement corrective actions when required.

Resource & Team Management

• Plan and manage project staffing requirements.
• Coordinate with offshore teams to ensure effective collaboration and execution.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and resource ramp-up activities.
• Mentor project leads and team members.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide regular feedback.
• Manage project revenue, margins, utilization, and forecasts.
• Track invoicing milestones and support PO/SOW management.
• Identify opportunities for account growth, change requests, and additional business.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks.
• Maintain project dashboards and executive reports.
• Facilitate audits, compliance reviews, and quality assessments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Delivery & Program Management

• Strong project and program management experience.
• Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall delivery models.
• Experience managing distributed onsite-offshore teams.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and project governance.

Customer Management

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Negotiation and conflict-resolution capabilities.

Technical Understanding

• Good understanding of enterprise application development and support projects.
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Understanding DevOps, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices.
• Ability to engage in technical discussions with architects and technical leads.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 12+ years of IT services and project delivery experience.
• 3+ years in a Delivery Manager or Program Manager role.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications are preferred.
