Job Description
As a Hydrographic Surveyor, you will be instrumental in conducting detailed seabed surveys to support the planning and development of offshore wind farms. Your responsibilities will include:
Performing accurate hydrographic mapping and seabed surveys using advanced surveying equipment.
Analyzing and interpreting sonar data, GPS data, and other geophysical information to create detailed charts and reports.
Collaborating with marine engineers and project managers to provide data essential for the design and installation of wind turbines.
Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards during survey operations.
Managing data collection and processing operations onboard survey vessels.
Preparing and presenting technical reports to stakeholders and team members.
Key Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
A degree in Hydrography, Geophysics, Oceanography, or a related field.
Proven experience in marine surveying, ideally within the offshore wind sector.
Strong proficiency in using hydrographic survey equipment and software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Capability to work effectively in both team environments and independently.
Effective communication skills, fluent in English (both written and verbal).
Contract Duration: 12 months
Start Date: Immediate
