Your working environment:

Our international team focuses passionately on major maritime renewable projects. We support our public and private sector clients in project management, technical and business consultancy, throughout the renewable supply chain, across 6 offices: Bergen, Oslo, Esbjerg, Hamburg, Sydney, and The Hague.

The Offshore Grid Team within KONGSTEIN focuses on major projects covering electrical power transmission between offshore production sites and onshore grids for the full value chain from concept design to transport and installation (T&I) and Operations / Maintenance (O&M) of offshore assets such as power cables and offshore platforms.

All employees within KONGSTEIN Group work as one team, based on the Nordic business culture. We have open and direct communication among all colleagues where everyone can express their opinion, as well as work together to grow and build a better KONGSTEIN forward.

As part of the Offshore Grid Team, you will:

  1. Provide technical advisory and project support to our clients in international projects.
  2. Prepare tender documents, conduct bid evaluations, and participate in negotiations.
  3. Assist with the development of business cases, financial models, and schedules to support investment decisions.
  4. Develop transport and installation strategies.
  5. Develop/optimise operations and maintenance strategies.
  6. Conduct market and industry research to stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in the offshore grid market.
  7. Participate in the preparation of proposals to potential clients and partners.
  8. Build and maintain relationships with customers, regulators, and industry partners.
  9. Write high-quality studies and reports for internal and external audiences.

Your background / Qualifications:

  1. Masters or Diploma degree(s) in Engineering, such as but not limited to:
  • Offshore Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Renewable Energies
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, such as:
    • Transport, installation, and/or commissioning of electrical high voltage systems.
  • Team player.
  • Self-propelled and motivated to take over responsibility on complex projects.
  • High level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Experience with project management processes (PM certificates are of advantage).
  • Experience from Consulting Business is an advantage.
