Jobbeschreibung

We are looking for committed employees to ensure the offshore operation of our wind turbines in our Offshore Wind farm Deutsche Bucht, consisting of X Vestas wind turbines with 8.4 MW each.

You will play a key role in our Service team. The position involves temporary travel to other Offshore wind farms within Vestas for training, education, and experience sharing. As a Deputy Supervisor, you will work in a team of three or more technicians and support the Site Management of the Windfarm when not in the field, to ensure smooth and reliable operation of our wind turbines.

Your main tasks :

• Manage and coordinate service operations on site in cooperation with the Offshore Service Supervisor, including:
• Plan and coordinate service tasks daily
• Organize vessel and O&M team transfers
• Monitor weather forecasts
• Prepare transfer plans and daily reports
• Create and manage work orders in SAP and approve technician hours
• Maintain and update the planning board
• Assist in implementing new procedures and processes
• Plan annual service and maintenance
• Contribute to the Monthly Customer Report
• Ensure implementation of upgrades
• Cooperate with customer representatives to ensure high satisfaction
• Lead offshore engineering team on wind turbines
• Perform fault finding and rectification on electrical and mechanical systems
• Complete scheduled service on turbines
• Act as Operational Controller and SAP/HV Control person
• Ensure compliance with Vestas Health and Safety Standards
• Support the Service Manager as needed

Your qualifications :

• Completed electrical degree from a technical school, college, or university
• At least 2 years of professional experience with electrical and/or mechanical systems, preferably offshore and/or with high voltage
• Professional wind turbine experience
• Comfortable working offshore and at heights, managing associated challenges
