We are looking for committed employees to ensure the offshore operation of our wind turbines in our Offshore Wind farm Deutsche Bucht, consisting of x V wind turbines with 8.4 MW each.

You will work in a key role of our Service team. Temporarily travel to other Offshore wind farms within Vestas for training, education, and sharing experience is a vital part of the position. As a Deputy Supervisor, you will work in a team of 3 or more technicians and also support the Site Management of the Windfarm when not working in the field to ensure smooth and reliable operation of our wind turbines.

Your main tasks :

• Manage and coordinate service operations on site in cooperation with the Offshore Service Supervisor, including:
• Plan & coordinate daily service tasks
• Organize vessel and O&M team transfers
• Monitor weather forecasts
• Prepare transfer plans and daily reports
• Create and manage work orders in SAP and approve technician hours
• Maintain and update the planning board
• Assist in implementing new procedures and processes
• Plan annual service and maintenance
• Contribute to Monthly Customer Reports
• Ensure implementation of upgrades
• Collaborate with customer representatives to ensure high customer satisfaction
• Lead the offshore engineering team on the wind turbines
• Perform fault finding and rectification on electrical and mechanical systems
• Complete scheduled service on wind turbines
• Act as Operational Controller and SAP/HV Control person
• Adhere to Vestas Health and Safety Standards
• Provide general support to the Service Manager

Your qualifications :

• Completed an electrical degree from a technical school, college, or university
• At least 2 years of professional experience with electrical and/or mechanical systems, preferably offshore and/or with high voltage
• Professional wind turbine experience
• Comfortable working offshore and at heights, managing related challenges
