Location: Manchester or Birmingham (The role will be based in Manchester or Birmingham; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week) This is an exciting role Co-Managing the Governance Team at Arts Council England, where you will oversee day-to-day operations and ensure effective administration trustee and other key governance meetings. You will regularly give advice to council members and officers on all manner of governance and internal policy matters, ensuring we continue to comply with legislative requirements and governance best practice. You will help with the recruitment of new trustees and help to develop new ways of delivering best Governance across the organisation to ensure we remain and maintain a modern working environment. We are looking for someone with a good grasp of governance policy and practice in the public/and or charitable sector. You will enjoy managing teams. You will be curious and passionate about improving the way we work. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a good eye for detail.
