At Cosentino (), we are looking for an Architect & Design Sales Manager located in South Cologne, who will have the opportunity to work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part of.
What you will do
As an Architect & Designer Sales Manager (ADSM), you will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing Cosentino’s product awareness, acceptance, and sales within the contract design & commercial segments for both interior and exterior applications.
You will actively identify, pursue, and increase sales and brand loyalty by engaging with architects, designers, fabricators, developers, and related contractors, while collaborating with other members of the Cosentino Sales Team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Create short- and long-term sales plans to penetrate architectural and design firms, developers, corporate accounts, new property owners, and service providers to promote specifications and sales of work surfaces, flooring, interior cladding, and exterior facades.
- Execute sales plans within agreed timelines from customers or Cosentino Management.
- Manage your sales budget and maintain discipline to stay within assigned sales and expense budgets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Business Development
- Promote the organization’s products through formal presentations to architects, designers, and targeted organizations.
- Develop new project opportunities via personal sales efforts and professional relationships with architects, designers, building owners, and property management firms involved in new developments or renovations.
Account Management
- Maintain accurate records of relationships, product placements, and project details in the project management database (SalesForce CRM).
- Manage and communicate timely updates across all parties to ensure successful project execution, including updating sales collateral, technical data, samples, mockups, and proposals.
- Coordinate with Cosentino Account Managers, partners, fabricators, and contractors to ensure successful project realization.
Business Intelligence
- Continuously learn about Cosentino surfacing products, their applications, specifications, fabrication, and installation processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide market and regional sales insights and recommendations to senior management.
What you need to succeed
Professional Experience
- At least 4 years of sales experience in building materials, construction, or commercial projects.
- Over 2 years of proven ability to interact with various levels within commercial industry projects.
- At least 1 year of business development experience.
Desired:
- Stone fabrication or distribution experience.
Knowledge
- Experience in stone fabrication or distribution.
Academic Background
- Required: High School / GED.
- Desired: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
