The Role

This is a pivotal position at the heart of the company’s Berlin operations. The Office Manager will take ownership of day-to-day office functions, ensuring smooth and efficient operations, managing administrative processes, and creating a welcoming, productive environment for the team. The role suits someone with excellent organisational skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily office operations and maintain an efficient workspace
  • Manage supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and team activities (both virtual and in-person)
  • Act as primary contact for facility management and service providers
  • Assist with travel arrangements and expense reporting
  • Maintain health and safety standards in line with local regulations
  • Provide administrative support to HR and Finance teams
  • Foster a positive and inclusive office culture

Experience required:

  • Proven experience in an Office Manager or similar administrative role
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills in both English and German
  • Proficiency with office tools such as Google Workspace, MS Office, and Slack
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and multitask effectively
  • Experience in a tech or startup environment is advantageous, but not essential
