Your mission
We are seeking a customer-oriented Office IT Infrastructure and Support Specialist (m/f/x) to join our team. Your role is to ensure accessibility and availability of office infrastructure for our colleagues. As the first point of contact for internal users, you will provide excellent IT support, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain a smooth and efficient IT environment. If you have a passion for customer service, strong technical knowledge, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this position is for you. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the primary contact for all IT-related inquiries, requests, and incidents from employees, providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of end-user devices such as desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Building automation of internal processes and workflows.
- Prioritizing and managing support requests, ensuring timely resolution and proper escalation when needed.
- Administration of user accounts, access rights, and permissions according to company policies.
- Collaborating with IT and AI teams to resolve complex technical problems and participating in ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Creating and maintaining documentation for support processes, including knowledge base articles and user guides.
- Conducting technology training sessions for employees to enhance their technical skills and promote self-service options.
Your profile
- Completed apprenticeship as a Fachinformatiker or hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in IT support, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems, supporting Google Workspace and other common software applications.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, EntraID, SharePoint, and Teams, including configuration, management, and administrative tasks.
- Automation mindset with curiosity to explore automation opportunities; experience in PowerShell scripting.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
Advantageous to have :
- Experience with a cloud compute platform.
- Basic knowledge of Python or Bash scripting.
- Conversational German or better.
