As an Area Manager, you will ensure your site operates smoothly to meet customer demand. You will lead a team that maintains safety, efficiency, and high quality, while managing projects across our network to enhance productivity.

2. Analyze and implement changes to sustain high quality and productivity
3. Manage projects to streamline processes, optimize productivity, and improve service quality within your area

A day in the life

You will work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, focusing on maximizing productivity. Your main responsibilities include fostering a safety culture, maintaining quality and performance standards, overseeing process improvements, and mentoring new managers. Your day will vary from team management and operational duties to process improvements and contingency planning.

About the team

Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) handles heavy items like furniture and appliances. Our team manages the entire process from supply chain fulfillment to delivery and returns, including unpacking, assembly, installation, and old item disposal. We prioritize safety, productivity, and innovation, transforming how customers buy and receive large goods. We plan to expand our fulfillment centers and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. Most team members work during the day, with some night shifts in delivery stations. Our team includes professionals from operations, supply chain, business intelligence, and project management, all vital to our growth.

Grundqualifikationen

• A degree
• Relevant experience in people management
• Experience communicating with diverse stakeholders, including peers and leadership
• Ability to use data or anecdotal evidence to influence decisions
• Proficiency in English and local language
