Amazon Marketplace continues to evolve to be the best place for third-party selling partners of all sizes to reach out to hundreds of millions of customers by leveraging our tools and services.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, customer-obsessed, and highly motivated New Accounts Manager to support the expansion of the international selling partner business on the European Amazon websites and help them grow on the Amazon Marketplace.

In this role, you will be responsible for initiating and developing strong relationships with selling partners of all sizes. You will be Amazon’s main point of contact for these selling partners, managing the day-to-day interactions and identifying opportunities to help them grow on Amazon Marketplace.

This role provides a real opportunity to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions. You will work autonomously, with a consultancy approach, taking responsibility for achieving business objectives.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and commercial skills. The successful candidate will have strengths in account management and data analysis, be keen on setting high standards and targets, and be an active and cooperative team member.

Responsibilities

  1. Recruit and launch selling partners to sell on Amazon’s European marketplaces
  2. Define and improve strategies for recruiting new selling partners
  3. Set up selling partners for success, delivering new business growth

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluent in German and English
  • Experience in Sales/Business Development preferred
  • Strong direct sales and objection-handling skills, with a proven track record of performance
  • Action and results-driven mindset, working autonomously and taking responsibility for achieving quarterly targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to persuade and explain complex concepts simply
  • Analytical skills with effective Excel usage
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or experience in sales, marketing (e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS), or similar

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluent written and verbal communication in English and German
  • Knowledge of MS Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong planning, prioritization, and time-management skills
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and with attention to detail
  • Experience in financial analysis, retail buying, retail planning & allocation, product/project management, marketing, consulting, negotiation, or supply chain is a plus
  • Experience with analytical tools like Google Analytics, SQL, or HTML is a plus
  • Proficiency in a second European language is a plus
