Overview

For our customer, we are looking for a Network Technician to join a Telekom customer. The role is 2-3 days onsite in Kiel, and they are looking for a Network Technician to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Hardware: You configure and operate network components, router and switching systems, as well as firewalls and VPNs.
• Software: You enjoy installations in the data center and at customer sites, network management, monitoring and documentation.
• Support and fault prevention: You process fault reports in the 2nd level, identify possible faults using existing tools and initiate appropriate measures.

Qualifications

• Basics: Ideally, you have completed technical training, a technical degree, or comparable qualifications. However, we also welcome your application even without prior experience or as a career changer.
• Communication and responsibility: You are a true team player and work reliably and independently.
• Bonus: Ideally, you have knowledge of TCP/IP, experience with routing protocols, and basic knowledge of the configuration and operation of access technology based on VDSL/Ethernet or certifications in the networking field (e.g., Cisco, CCNA).
• Language Requirements: German and English
