Overview

**CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**

SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) Network Engineer - Task Lead to support US Army requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Essential Job Duties

• Serve as Task Lead to ensure effective theater-wide management of this technical area.
• Facilitate the flow of information from the PM to geographically dispersed task technical implementation personnel and ensure task implementation issues/challenges are communicated to the PM for resolution/awareness.
• Manage and mentor subordinates.
• Design, develop, and engineer comprehensive solutions to complex theater network challenges/problems.
• Review network engineering solutions from subordinates and ensure the integration of best practices across theater network solutions.
• Drive standardization of theater network solutions for all supported organizations.
• Oversee network engineering tasks and responses to ensure integration of best practices.
• Manage and mentor subordinate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, or an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 14 years’ experience, or a high school diploma with a minimum of 16 years’ experience.
• Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance.
• DOD Cyber Work Force (DCWF) 441 Certifications: SecurityX / CASP+, CCNA, CCNP Security, CCSP, GCED, GCI, GCLD, GDSA, GFACT, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders and experience organizing materials for In-Progress Review (IPR) meetings.
• Experience producing metrics and reports using Microsoft Office tools.
• Demonstrated discretion, independent judgment, and self-direction.

Work Environment

• Normal office conditions with potential duties in deployed locations.
• Core hours are Monday through Friday, 0600 – 1700.
• May work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Travel may be required to various CONUS and OCONUS locations based on USAREUR-AF and Mission Partner requirements.
