Currently my biggest Telecommunicationsclient in Germany is looking for a German Speaking Network Technician to join their team
The role will require several days onsite each month in Kiel. The role is for a permanent employment contract.
The role requires business fluency in German and English.
Your tasks as a network technician Hardware:
- You configure and operate network components, router and switching systems, as well as firewalls and VPNs.
- You employ installations in the datacenter and at customer sites, network management, monitoring, and documentation.
- You process fault reports at the second level, identify potential faults using existing tools, and initiate appropriate measures.
Your profile as a network technician
- Ideally, you have completed technical training, a technical degree, or comparable qualifications.
- You are a true team player and work reliably and independently.
- Ideally, you have knowledge of TCP/IP, experience with routing protocols, and basic knowledge of configuring and operating access technology based on VDSL/Ethernet, or certifications in the networking field (e.g., Cisco, CCNA).
