What your day will look like

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer (f/m/d) to oversee, guide, and support our IT environment, ensuring security compliance and optimal network performance. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions, supporting incident resolution, and collaborating with internal and external teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience in network design, support, and project delivery, working within a support and project team, and ensuring network security and performance.

The Network Engineer will be part of the engineering team within the group-wide networks and security division.

• Design, configure, test, and maintain LAN/WAN/Security solutions, including Firewall, Wi-Fi, Routing, and Switching Technologies.
• Support and manage network infrastructure, incidents, and requests.
• Diagnose and resolve network issues.
• Deliver technical and business projects.
• Manage BAU activities such as Adds / Moves / Changes.
• Manage network and security products like Zscaler, FortiNet, Cisco, Azure, Cloudflare, and AWS.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with standards.
• Monitor performance and capacity of network components.

What you need to fulfill the role

You Must Be

• English speaking.

You Must Have

• At least 2 years of relevant network engineering experience.
• Knowledge of routing protocols, switching technologies, firewall technologies, network cabling, design, and topology.
• Experience with cloud environments like Azure and AWS.
• Knowledge of DNS and network security practices.

It Would Be Good to Be

• German speaking.

It Would Be Good to Have

• Experience with Fortinet, Cisco Nexus, Telcos, Azure AD, and managing hybrid network architectures.
