The Role

Role Responsibilities

• Guide customers in adopting major cloud and non-cloud networking technologies by advising on technology options, strategic choices, capturing and prioritizing complex requirements, and resolving conflicting requirements.
• Partner with customers to transform to modern architecture supporting business goals, advise on networking security aspects and regulations.
• Take responsibility for essential technical components, such as analyzing the customer's current state, defining network strategy including key outcomes, designing conceptual solutions, and planning and executing design and implementation work (with support from technical specialists).
• Communicate effectively to articulate the impact and business benefits of solutions and manage stakeholder expectations.

Who You Are

Required Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of network and cloud networking technologies including routing/switching, WAN, SDN, network security, and automation.
• Subject matter expertise in at least three domains (e.g., cloud networking, data center LAN, campus LAN, SD-WAN, ITIL, network automation, security, IoT, governance).
• Issue-based analysis, data collection, and structured conclusions, recommendations, and roadmaps.
• Knowledge of IT operating models and process frameworks.
• Ability to lead workshops, facilitate interviews, and deliver presentations.
• Fluent in German and English.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Consulting experience in networking.
• Experience with IP networking, business case analysis, ROI, and TCO analysis.
• Deep expertise and practical experience in implementing networking technologies.
