Non-Destructive Examination Engineer - Mechanized Ultrasonic Testing

Mannheim, Germany (Hybrid work arrangement available)

General Job Function:

• Support in development and qualification of mechanized ultrasonic testing techniques and systems
• Preparation of technical justifications and inspection procedures
• Data analysis and documentation of test results in the test laboratory and onsite
• Preparation and implementation of training courses for the onsite personnel
• Supporting development of technical quotations

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support in development and qualification of mechanized ultrasonic testing techniques and systems
• Preparation of UT Technical Justifications and Procedures
• Data analysis and documentation of test results in the test laboratory and onsite
• Preparation and implementation of training courses for the onsite personnel
• Supporting development of technical quotations
• Support of ongoing Projects and Products
• Cross-Department and Cross-Country work

Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies:

Required:

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Mechatronic, Electrical Engineering or other Engineering Degree
• German language, speaking and writing (mother tongue or C2-Level)
• English language, speaking and writing (min. B2)
• Open communications / teamwork
• Must be legally authorized to work in Germany/Europe

Preferred and Not Required:

• 5 years of experience in mechanized Ultrasonic Inspections on pipe or nozzle welds (preferred, but not mandatory)
• UT Level 2 (preferred, but not mandatory), Candidate for certification to Level 3
• French in speaking and writing (optional)
