Job Description:

TT-Line is one of the leading ferry companies in the Baltic Sea, operating modern ferries between Germany, Poland, Lithuania, and Sweden. Annually, TT-Line transports over 1,000,000 passengers and more than 500,000 freight units across four routes, making it the market leader in southern Sweden traffic. The company employs around 900 people both onboard and in land offices located in Travemünde, Rostock, Trelleborg, Karlshamn, Świnoujście / Szczecin, and Klaipėda.

We are currently seeking to support our Technical / Nautical Inspection department with a:

Position: Naval Architect / Technical Project Manager (m/f/d)
  • Research, compare, and assess new technologies and technical improvements
  • Lead technical projects, communicate internally and externally with suppliers, classification societies, and flag authorities
  • Perform cost-benefit and lifecycle cost analyses
  • Create and update technical documentation such as drawings, datasheets, and instructions
  • Maintain close communication with fleet operations, technical superintendence, and S&Q management to address current issues and develop solutions
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Marine Engineering
  • Strong technical understanding and passion for marine industry
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Structured, independent working style
  • Ability to consider technical and economic factors in decision-making
  • Proficiency in CAD software, preferably AutoCAD (advantageous)
  • Willingness to travel
