Naval Architect / Technical Project Manager (m/f/d)

About TT-Line
TT-Line is one of the leading ferry companies in the Baltic Sea, operating modern ferries between Germany, Poland, Lithuania, and Sweden. Annually, TT-Line transports over 1,000,000 passengers and more than 500,000 freight units across its four routes, making it the market leader in southern Sweden traffic. The company employs around 900 people across onboard and land-based locations in Travemünde, Rostock, Trelleborg, Karlshamn, Świnoujście / Szczecin, and Klaipėda.

To support our Technical / Nautical Inspection department, we are seeking a Naval Architect / Technical Project Manager (m/f/d).

Responsibilities:
  1. Research, compare, and assess new technologies and technical improvements.
  2. Lead dedicated technical projects, including internal and external communication with suppliers, class societies, and flag authorities.
  3. Conduct cost-benefit and life cycle cost analyses.
  4. Create and update technical documentation such as drawings, datasheets, and instructions.
  5. Maintain close communication with fleet operations, technical superintendence, and S&Q management to address current issues and develop solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Marine Engineering.
  • Good technical understanding and passion for marine business.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills (business fluent).
  • Structured and independent working style.
  • Ability to consider both technical and economic aspects in daily work.
  • IT skills in Computer Aided Design (CAD), preferably AutoCAD.
  • Willingness to travel.
