We are looking for aNational Sales Lead (m/f/d)Rare & Epilepsy(m/f/d)in Germany as a part of the Rare & Epilepsy Team.

About the role

The National Sales Lead is responsible for managing and delivering all activities ensuring optimal sales performance. In this role, you ensure that the entire Sales Team operates to the highest commercially oriented strategic execution, founded in scientific, ethical, compliance and quality standards when interacting with external stakeholders and following UCB Code of Conduct and ensuring all business is done in full compliance with relevant rules and laws.

Who you will work with

The National Sales Lead forRare & Epilepsyreports to the Head of Rare & Epilepsy and collaborates with different stakeholders within the Rare & Epilepsy team, but also works together with Compliance, Information Officer, Legal External Engagement, Market Access, Local Patient Value Unit (RRDLs, Network Rare Leads, MSLs, RMAMs & HRAMs) I2I, Business Analyst and Operations. Externally, this role will collaborate with HCPs, agencies and associations.

What you will do

  • Alongside with the members of the Learning and Development department, endorse the coaching, training, and development of all Sales colleagues, ensuring that individual sales delivery competencies are at the best possible level including constant and frequent in-field coaching of ESLs and other field-based direct reports
  • Evolve with your teams strategic account and network management und ensure execution of corresponding Sales Tactical Plans congruent to ISP plans. Consider short-term as well as long-term goals in plan development
  • Ensure and track the implementation of the LPVU plan, with sales metrics as the core KPI, along with other relevant KPIs
  • Responsible for relevant Operating Expenses for optimal Sales Team operations and Performance
  • Stay abreast of business, clinical/scientific, healthcare financing, and policy issues impacting the healthcare ecosystems
  • Develop and manage key processes to gain insights to proactively manage complexity and relevant value drivers in the German sales environment

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills:

  • Master´s Degree and Medical Degree preferred
  • Completed training as a pharmaceutical sales representative (Certification according §75 AMG)
  • Field Leadership experience at least 10 years
  • Knowledge of respective market (Specialty Care a must, Rare Diseases a plus) including patient journeys and unmet needs
  • Understand the implications of new challenges and trends on the stakeholder’s business, leading to a deeper understanding of the stakeholder’s business and strategy
  • Knowledgeable in prescription and sales data in the German market, with analytical skills and strategic interpretation for performance impact
  • Availability and willingness to travel
