Location: Germany (Flexible)

Salary: Negotiable Fixed plus Individual Bonus Plan (+ company and team bonus) Experience Dependent

With a multi-million-euro turnover and a reputation for excellence, our client supplies cutting-edge flooring solutions to a wide range of commercial clients, including corporate offices, retail spaces, hospitality venues, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions.

The company has a well-established presence in Germany, with a dedicated commercial team supporting architects, designers, and specifiers.

Our client operates as part of a larger international structure, with headquarters in the UK and a strong presence across Europe, the Middle East, and North America.

The business is recognised for its emphasis on sustainability, high-quality craftsmanship, and a dedication to providing customised flooring solutions that cater to the evolving requirements of contemporary commercial spaces.

The Person

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Account Manager to join its growing team in Germany.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in flooring sales within the Healthcare sector in Germany, selling into architects, designers, specifiers, and healthcare end customers, including major Healthcare Groups, both within the private and public sectors.
  • Alternatively, experience in selling premium furniture, interior products, or high-end building materials into the specification markets within the Healthcare sector will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of the German architectural and design community with an established network.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • A proactive and self-motivated mindset, demonstrating resilience and a drive to exceed sales targets.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a structured commercial team.
  • Experience working with national hotel groups and hospitality projects to incorporate high-end flooring solutions.
  • Comfort in selling face-to-face and ensuring designs incorporate the client’s brand vision.
  • Familiarity with selling premium brands associated with quality, service, and value.
  • Ability to collaborate with and service the local flooring installation community across Germany.
  • Fluency in German and a passable level of English are essential.

The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Head, the National Account Manager Healthcare will be responsible for driving sales and expanding the business presence within the German market.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing relationships with the Healthcare sector, architects, designers, and specifiers to ensure our clients are their preferred flooring solution.
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities, targeting commercial projects acrossvarious industries, including hospitals, care homes, clinics, and others, in both the private and public sectors.
  • Conducting client meetings and presentations to showcase our client’s product range, sustainability credentials, and design capabilities.
  • Providing technical advice and support on flooring solutions, ensuring seamless project specifications and installations.
  • Tracking market trends and competitor activity, feeding back insights to contribute to strategic planning.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets, contributing to the continued success and growth of our client in Germany.
