Job summary

Munich Re Markets GmbH in Munich seeks a Senior Strategy Consultant to support the development, evaluation, and execution of strategic priorities across a global platform. You will partner with the Global Head and business leaders to identify growth opportunities, assess market developments, and drive strategic transformation initiatives.

You will lead complex projects, manage senior stakeholders, and prepare executive-ready documents for the Board, while traveling internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• University degree, preferably at Master’s level, in business administration, economics, finance, engineering, or a related field.
• At least five to seven years of experience in strategy consulting, management consulting, corporate strategy, or business transformation.
• Demonstrated experience in leading complex projects and effectively managing senior stakeholders.
• Experience in financial services, insurance, banking, asset management, or another regulated industry is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, combined with the ability to structure and solve complex business problems.
• Sound understanding of strategic planning methodologies, business frameworks, and organizational transformation.
• Strategic and commercially minded, with a proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach.
• Flexible and collaborative working style, with the ability to manage changing priorities and work effectively across locations, cultures, and time zones.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills, particularly German, are an advantage, as is willingness to travel internationally

Combining strong analytical capabilities with business acumen and project management skills, you will develop actionable recommendations that support long-term value creation.
