Qualifikationen

  • Mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung in der Automobilindustrie, vorzugsweise in der Motorradindustrie.
  • Erfahrung in Projektmanagement und technischer Unterstützung.

Motorcycle Suspension Key Account (m/f/d)

In this position you will promote and support sales activities for motorcycle European OEMs and related tier suppliers for motorcycle components for shock absorbers.

You will be part of Astemo’s Motorcycle Division and Suspension Business Unit.

Key Accountabilities and Activities

  • Identifying needs and the best solution for OEM's. Communicating results to customers through written reports.
  • Production management support for projects launch by working with OEM & Tier accomplishing milestones.
  • Troubleshooting with issues by working with the OEM & Tier to identify the root cause & implementing solutions.
  • Defining and developing new business and/or new products opportunities.
  • RFI/RFQ preparation/negotiation with OEMs and related department.
  • Providing "voice of customer" and new product ideas to internal organization.
  • Gathering customers business plan information.
  • Prepare business plan and sales plan according to customers information.
  • Price negotiations.
  • Technical presentation/exhibition support.
  • Budget controlling.
  • Project management from development until EOP.
  • Outstanding payment follow up.
  • Internal meetings participation and presentation.
  • Marketing analysis for market in general and competitors.
  • Willingness to travel on short notice.

Your profile

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher education in Engineering, Business Administration or Marketing.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in the motorcycle industry.
  • Experience in project management and technical support activities with customers.
  • Fluency in German and English language.

  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Costing and pricing skills for automotive components.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Ability to work with conflicting, delayed or ambiguous information.
