Your Impact
The McKinsey Center for Future Mobility is our firm's think tank exploring trends in shared mobility, electrification, autonomous vehicles, and consumer sentiment. We are at the forefront of the sustainable mobility transition, helping business leaders and policymakers solve mobility challenges for society, industries, and individuals.
You will be based in our Munich office in Germany as part of the international McKinsey Center for Future Mobility team, with approximately 40 colleagues worldwide. You will collaborate with a global network of experts to support strategic decision-making, providing in-depth insights on energy demand, charging infrastructure, and value pools across scenarios and regions. This role requires a deep understanding of the electric vehicle charging ecosystem, analytical modeling, problem-solving skills, and a passion to help clients succeed in sustainable mobility.
As a Mobility Analyst in the Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure team, you will analyze and strategize deployment and optimization of charging infrastructure. Your work will span the entire value chain, including hardware manufacturers, service providers, charge point operators, software companies, and investors.
You will join a growing, entrepreneurial team focused on developing insights and tools to serve mobility clients, such as micro-mobility providers, charging operators, and automotive companies.
Bring your passion for mobility and sustainability to develop advanced capabilities and market projections. Automotive or mobility expertise and analytical skills are highly valued. Develop industry-leading expertise within the McKinsey Center for Future Mobility and contribute to building our mobility insights and tools. Proficiency in Python for data management and visualization (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) would be a valuable addition.
