The State Leadership Academy for Food, Agriculture and Forestry (FüAk) is an intermediate authority within the remit of the Bavarian State Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Tourism with its headquarters in Landshut.
ML Ops Engineer (m / f / d)
Place of employment: Landshut - up to A13 / up to EGr. 11 TV-L
Responsibilities
- Production realization of AI applications with focus on scalability, stability, security and maintainability.
- Support in the design and development of AI-supported applications.
- Design and implementation of scalable deployments for productive AI applications on different target environments.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of productive AI systems, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Implementation and maintenance of monitoring and alerting solutions for monitoring of the productive operation.
- Training employees in the field of AI.
Profile
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, business informatics, natural sciences, data science, artificial intelligence or a comparable course of study.
- Qualification for entry into the third qualification level of the science and technology career path, specializing in administrative informatics or with several years of professional experience in the field of AI / knowledge management.
- Sound knowledge in the development and use of AI models, in particular in relation to generative AI.
- Very good knowledge of Python and SQL.
- Experience in the area of automated deployments, on different target environments, containerization and orchestration (e.g. with Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in agile project management.
- Experience in public administration.
- Strong analytical thinking skills combined with a methodical, goal-oriented approach.
- Teamwork and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly, concisely and appropriately to the target audience.
- Service and service orientation.
- Proficiency in written and spoken German to at least level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) (to be demonstrated by an appropriate certificate if necessary).
