Software Engineering Team Lead - Fully Remote

This exciting B2B platform is making its way to the international stage, now with around 50,000 active clients, its continued profitable growth is here to stay. Having now dominated the German market, we are looking for an experienced Software Engineering Team Lead who can spearhead further growth as they move into more international markets.

This role is 100% remote so no matter where you are in Germany, this could be suitable for you.

The role:

• Take charge of growing, building and enhancing an already existing and successful team, as we move into our next stage of company progression.
• Leading the team by Example: Actively participate in coding and code reviews, ensuring standards of high quality. Build an incredible team. Become a Technical Role Model and go the extra mile to build, develop, and coach the team members.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with product managers, senior staff and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective, reliable and efficient technical solutions.
• Empower Your Own Team: Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, mentoring team members.
• Innovate & Motivate: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, driving new ideas and technologies into our development process.

Your experience:

• Clear knowledge, history and expertise in building, growing and supporting an established Tech Team.
• Experience with any of the following: Kotlin (with Gradle + Micronaut), Typescript, Nestjs, React, Vuejs.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, Cloudflare.
• DevOps Mindset - The team uses Terraform, Docker, CDK, Kubernetes and more.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Your professional journey demonstrates years of professional software engineering experience and leadership.
• You can oversee multiple project teams simultaneously.
• You possess strong interpersonal, communication and team building skills together with time-management, planning, and organisational skills.
• Deep understanding and good experience with software architecture and design principles.
• Knowledge of clean code and best practices.
• Up to date with the latest industry trends.
• You are passionate about innovation and committed to continuous learning.
• You are fluent in English (German is a major advantage).
