Job Description:

For our client in the aerospace industry, we are looking for motivated candidates for the following position in Manching, Germany with immediate effect:

• Design and develop software products for Aircraft and Ground Segment functions
• Provide Data management solutions (networks, avionics, open platforms)
• Manage Aircraft sensors, plan missions, and manage weapons systems
• Implement state-of-the-art technologies to develop new capabilities meeting safety, quality, and performance standards according to Airbus systems engineering processes and customer needs
• Document and verify developed solutions
• Validate solutions through defined tests and means
• Collaborate in Agile project ceremonies, supporting problem resolution, planning, and deliveries
• Participate in Software Life Cycle reviews and provide required data

Personal requirements:

• Good team player
• Ability to work in an international team
• Management skills for supplier monitoring are recommended

Education:

• Computer Science (Master's or Diploma degree) or
• Master's in Telecommunications Engineering

Professional experience:

• IT/Information Systems (at least 4 years)
• Aerospace (at least 4 years)
• Experience in Software Development
• Requirements Engineering
• Model-Based Software Lifecycle knowledge
• Basic network management knowledge

IT Skills:

• Java expertise
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Eclipse RCP and QuarkusFX are pluses
• Good knowledge of Linux and Windows, with Linux preferred for development
• Experience with backend development using Quarkus, middleware (DDS), and containerization (Podman) is a plus
• Knowledge of FTP/HTTP/Stanag protocols is a plus
• GIS Technologies and Image Processing knowledge are additional assets
• Business fluent English; German is recommended
