Role: Lead solution architect for Finance and Controlling within Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O

Responsibilities:

1. Design scalable, compliant, and business-aligned financial systems within Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
2. Implement end-to-end finance processes, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, budgeting, cost accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
3. Facilitate stakeholder workshops to gather requirements, define future processes, and translate them into D365 solutions.
4. Create solution documentation such as blueprints and specifications, guiding configuration and customization.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive delivery.
6. Drive finance transformation and process optimization, ensuring compliance with IFRS, HGB, and supporting continuous improvements.
7. Leverage Microsoft’s roadmap, Power Platform, and emerging technologies like AI and automation.

Profile

Qualifications include:

• University degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Extensive ERP experience, notably 5+ years with Dynamics AX / D365 F&O Finance modules.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Azure DevOps, LCS, and integration experience with external systems.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and multi-country finance operations, including US and European localization.
• Ability to work effectively with external partners and vendors.
• Experience in intercultural environments, especially with teams in Asia (preferred).
• Fluency in English and German, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
