Role: Lead solution architect for Finance and Controlling within Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O
Responsibilities:
- Design scalable, compliant, and business-aligned financial systems within Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Implement end-to-end finance processes, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, budgeting, cost accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to gather requirements, define future processes, and translate them into D365 solutions.
- Create solution documentation such as blueprints and specifications, guiding configuration and customization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive delivery.
- Drive finance transformation and process optimization, ensuring compliance with IFRS, HGB, and supporting continuous improvements.
- Leverage Microsoft’s roadmap, Power Platform, and emerging technologies like AI and automation.
Profile
Qualifications include:
- University degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Extensive ERP experience, notably 5+ years with Dynamics AX / D365 F&O Finance modules.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Azure DevOps, LCS, and integration experience with external systems.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and multi-country finance operations, including US and European localization.
- Ability to work effectively with external partners and vendors.
- Experience in intercultural environments, especially with teams in Asia (preferred).
- Fluency in English and German, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
