Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory & Standards Landscape: Monitor and interpret emerging trends in carbon standards, EU regulations (e.g., CSRD, EU CRCF), and national climate policies relevant to our projects and buyers.
• Methodology Projects: Lead or support the development, comparison, and application of methodologies for our forestry projects, working closely with forestry professionals, academics, and partners.
• Strategic Special Projects: Manage initiatives like pilot projects, R&D efforts, funding proposals, and industry consultations.
• Product-Market Fit: Translate regulatory and methodological requirements into inputs for digital products, collaborating with product, data, sales, and design teams.
• Partnerships & Representation: Represent our perspective in industry groups and conferences, and foster relationships with stakeholders including policymakers and project partners.
• Biodiversity and Co-Benefits: Engage in projects like the ProFIT Berlin initiative.

What You Bring

• Academic background in environmental science, forestry, political science, economics, or similar.
• Strong interest in climate policy, carbon markets, and nature-based solutions.
• 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced, analytical, or cross-functional role.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and synthesis abilities.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and autonomous work style.
• Proficiency with AI tools like ChatGPT.
• Bonus: experience with voluntary carbon standards, policy research, or product teams.
