Messaging Specialist, Senior . This position is in support of the USAEUR Mission Partner the MND located inWiesbaden, Germany.

Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities :

Designs, manages, and maintains communication services to enable email and instant messaging

Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of messaging systems and software (e.g., DISA’s DoD Enterprise Email, Microsoft Outlook)

Manages and maintains communications services, equipment, software, and infrastructure security IAW with the system ATO

Supports troubleshooting and resolution for incidents and problems

Initiates incident requests with email or messaging service provider when incidents cannot be resolved locally

Manages the delivery, operation, and integration of instant messaging capabilities

Maintains email and instant messaging servers, supporting infrastructure, groups, accounts, and end-user clients

Mentors other messaging specialists

Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments

Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments

May supervise others

Qualifications :

BA / BS +4-7 years of experience

Possess a Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI.

Certification - 8140 - Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC

Demonstrates extensive expertise in designing and managing email and instant messaging systems, particularly in government or military environments.

Possesses comprehensive knowledge of messaging software and infrastructure, preferably including DoD Enterprise Email and Microsoft Outlook.

Exhibits mastery in maintaining communication services security.

Showcases strong troubleshooting skills for resolving complex messaging incidents and problems.

Displays proficiency in managing and integrating instant messaging capabilities across multiple platforms.

Excels at mentoring junior specialists and functioning as a technical expert across various messaging projects.

TESA eligible

Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs

Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards

Experience with DoD IT security requirements.
