What will you do

As an MES Consultant youll bridge the gap between technology and production. Youll support our clients in configuring and adapting software solutions to fit real-world manufacturing needs working with internal development teams and customer stakeholders.

Tasks inspiring you

Your key responsibilities :

• Customize and configure MES software solutions for production environments.
• Analyze technical requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Support integration with databases and production systems.
• Collaborate with project managers developers and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide user training and documentation.

Qualifications that inspire us

• Completed IHK Ausbildung or Bachelors degree in IT Engineering or related fields
• Solid knowledge of databases and strong programming skills (demonstrated through university private projects or student jobs)
• 35 years of programming experience preferably including PL / SQL Oracle Java and Python
• Experience with MES software and practical understanding of production environments
• Comfortable communicating in English (B2) and German (B2)
• Experience in consulting or customer-facing roles is a plus
• Industry knowledge in process industries
• Willingness to travel approximately 20%
• Based in NRW or open to relocation
• Available for at least 32 hours / week full-time preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical topics clearly

A plus is always nice

• French language skills to support clients or teams in Francophone regions.
• A valid drivers license helpful for onsite visits in various locations.
• Industry knowledge in steel or aluminum production enabling you to engage with clients in these sectors with greater insight.
