Description: This role involves working with high-net worth clients, identifying needs, developing relationships, reviewing investment goals, and preparing investment recommendations. Key responsibilities include leveraging technology for business growth, profiling client investor profiles, building a sustainable book of business, and providing growth opportunities for advisors. The position requires SAFE Act registration, including background checks and registration process compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing tailored advice to clients, including financial goal assessments and investment strategies.
  • Communicating solutions suited to clients' financial needs, such as banking, investment, and life solutions.
  • Partnering with Financial Advisor teams to promote portfolio growth.
  • Utilizing bank resources to benefit clients or prospects.
  • Developing and growing a business book to meet financial targets.
  • Prioritizing client requests and connecting them with internal service providers.

The Advisor Development Program (ADP) Journey:

This program offers training and mentorship to become a successful independent financial advisor. It involves working with affluent clients, developing relationship management skills, and preparing for career advancement within Merrill Wealth Management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Series 7 & 66 licenses (or 63 & 65 in lieu of 66).
  • Two years in financial services or sales with goal achievement.
  • At least one year in investments, with product knowledge.
  • Self-motivated with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Effective communicator, capable of managing goals and navigating complex environments.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven lead generation ability.
  • Experience balancing management, sales, and development.
  • Strong computer skills and multitasking ability.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business.
  • Additional designations like CFP or CRPC, insurance licenses are a plus.
