Job summary

Metis Search in Hamburg is seeking an M&A Manager to lead healthcare buy-and-build initiatives. You will manage end-to-end acquisitions, including screening, evaluation, and execution within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Based in the Hamburg office, you will partner with senior leadership to shape the long-term inorganic growth strategy, build financial models, perform valuation work, and drive stakeholder engagement across deals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of end-to-end M&A execution experience from Investment Banking, Boutique, or Private Equity.
• Strong technical foundation in financial modelling and valuation.
• Demonstrated transaction experience with the ability to run workstreams independently.
• Clear and confident communicator with strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Metis Search are currently partnered with a dynamic Healthcare Buy-and-Build looking to grow their M&A team in Hamburg. This is the opportunity to join an established brand, to execute on a healthy pipeline, focusing on inorganic growth projects, managing stakeholders and implementing strategy plans.

This position offers meaningful responsibility, direct exposure to senior decision-makers, and the chance to transition into an operational M&A role.

Responsibilities:

Candidate Profile

• Experience in Healthcare is not a requirement.
• The successful candidate must speak fluent/native German and be able to work from the Hamburg office.
