The Merchandising Assistant is a highly motivated individual with strong work ethic and a positive can-do attitude. This position will undertake a variety of assignments and projects in support of the headwear Merchandising Team. Reporting to the Merchandising Manager, the Merchandising assistant will work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Database Price Tables and Customer Facing Price Sheets for all brands and sales channels. Needs to be experienced using Excel.
• All sample order entries and tracking for all headwear and home décor across all sales channels.
  • Assisting with Sales Kit/Product Database Set up
• Support the Merchandising Team in the areas of sample management/organization:
  • Timely organization of all samples needed for merchandising projects such as sales representative kits, photoshoots, marketing collateral etc.
  • Label creation and shipping of samples
  • Assist with building and shipping of sample kits.
• Assist with Merchandising team responsibilities required for tradeshows:
  • Assisting Merchandising team with the organization, packing and unpacking of tradeshow samples
  • Assist Merchandising team with sample preparation for tradeshows
  • Assisting with all post show organizing
• Additional Tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Assist in cleaning and organizing of all merchandising areas and showrooms
• Experienced using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
• Must be able to work in various conditions: i.e. outdoors, warehouse, office
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Able to have strong communication skills and be able to work in social environment
• Outstanding time management, good judgment and ability to manage multiple priorities/deadlines with a positive can-do attitude.
• Extremely organized.
• Excellent leadership; interpersonal; collaboration and verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with others at all levels within an organization.
• Highly productive and a strong team player who works with a sense of urgency and hands-on approach.
